The history of politics in the world

The other side of the coin as when it comes to human civilization is Politics has changed a lot in history and earlier. Power, rule and the way society is organized have always been connected to politics: from ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia or Egypt where whoever exercise power over their subjects while being gods at the same time was by all however contrasted them. The Greeks, specifically in Athens with the development of democracy were able to come together amongst themselves and decide what they wanted as a people for their democracy. In other words give power back to the hands that actually manifested it into reality- citizens taking part in whether or not bills can become an active functioning law residents would live by on this land -a concept long forgotten but very much alive during these times we are living now days which soon will end up old news if all remains mumblings from those elected officials down there at our capital the same one used recently,-so why did many fall through voting? In Rome, the Republic became an Empire during that time period showing a mix of democracy and autocracy.

During the Middle Ages in Europe, feudalism was prevalent where local lords would flex their muscles with deference to a monarch. By the Renaissance and Enlightenment eras emergence of new ideas around governance, driven by minds such as John Locke and Montesquieu having pioneered thoughts that laid a foundation for constitutionalism to governing structure with Separation of Powers.

Democracy, followed by the growth of such ideologies as fascism and communism fell on hard times over its first century. World wars and the process of de-colonization remade global political landscapes, spawning international institutions such as the United Nations.

Politics is also / have further polished its structures as of the globalization and ever-rising technological achievements. Climate change, human rights and economic inequality are all subjects that become the political agenda for governance in future.

Politics, throughout history, has been the manifestation of humanity’s search for order and justice on one hand but also power it more natural form.
